- "Look at this guy. What is so special about him? I mean, I had an army of robots. What's he got? He's got some dumb accent. His name's Trevor. What is that? It's like if Bin Laden and Benny Hill had a baby."
- ―Justin Hammer

Synopsis[]
Trevor Slattery - a drug-addicted failed stage actor has been incarcerated at Seagate Prison for the role he played in imitating an international terrorist known as the Mandarin. Due to the worldwide coverage of the "Mandarin's" various televised threats, Slattery has become something of a celebrity in prison. His best friend and "butler" is large black man named Herman, who is fiercely loyal to Slattery and provides him with every creature comfort - even choccy milk.
During lunch time in the East Wing cafeteria, Trevor accidentally bumps into a much bigger inmate named White Power Dave, spilling the contents of his tray all over him. Dave is disgruntled that Trevor ruined his jumper and suggests that maybe he should dispense the brand of justice that the general public has been crying for with regards to Trevor. Slattery stammers in Dave's presence for a bit, until Herman, and the rest of Trevor's "fan base" stand up to throw their support behind the small British man. At this point, Trevor puts his courage to the sticking place and tells Dave, "Kiss my ring, bitch". Not wishing to get into a brawl with the entire entourage, Dave backs down.
Afterward, one of Trevor's fans, Fletcher Heggs asks Slattery to do "the voice". Trevor balks at first, then quickly relents. He dons a pair of sunglasses and speaks the line that he once issued to President Matthew Ellis on public television, "...and you'll never see me coming". Trevor's fans cheer and applaud with glee.
By 3:00 pm, Trevor Slattery has a meeting with a documentarian named Jackson Norriss. Jackson states that he is conducting what may very well be the last interview with the infamous criminal. They meet in a rather spacious and well-decorated living area and Jackson sets up his camera tripod. They briefly talk about Trevor's recent history as a hireling of Aldrich Killian. Jackson also takes Trevor on a stroll down memory lane and presents him with a photograph of when he was a child with his mother from 1964. He also shows him an archival reel of Trevor's rejected television pilot for CBS called Caged Heat.
Jackson takes on a more serious tone and begins speaking about the legend of the man he has impersonated - the Mandarin. It soon becomes clear that Jackson is not just a documentarian. In fact, he is an agent of the true Mandarin's criminal empire, the Ten Rings, and notes that his employer does not take kindly to Trevor stealing his name.
Jackson withdraws a handgun, which he kept concealed in his camera, and shoots the three attending prison guards. Trevor's ally, Herman, charges at Jackson, but the assassin uses a tripod leg as a truncheon and beats Herman down. He then stabs him in the throat killing him. During this melee, Trevor manages to get a hold of Jackson's gun, but Norriss easily disarms him. He tells him that he is not here to kill him, but rather to break him out. Trevor notes the sound of helicopters outside the prison walls. Jackson is going to bring Slattery back to his master so that he may answer for his offenses.
