"Agent Carter" is the title to the Marvel One-Shot mini-movie, which was produced in 2013 and released as a bonus feature on the Iron Man 3 DVD and Blu-ray edition. The film is part of the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and follows the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. It also serves as a sequel to the Agent Carter miniseries event, which aired on ABC in 2015. The film short was directed by Louis D'Esposito with a screenplay by Eric Pearson. It was was produced by Kevin Feige with co-producer Brad Baruh and Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mitch Bell and Alan Fine serving as executive producers. The film stars Hayley Atwell as the titular Peggy Carter, Bradley Whitford as her condescending boss, Agent John Flynn, along with Dominic Cooper reprising the role of Howard Stark and an after-credit guest appearance by Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan.
