Biography[]
Martin Scampt was an elderly man and an associate of wealthy playboy Garbiel Trulaine. Trulaine invited Scampt, as well as many other socialites aboard his private yacht, The Michele for a party. Seeking to impress his well-to-do friends, Garbiel presented a special celebrity guest - a man who was none other than the lord of all vampires, Count Dracula. At first, Scampt and the others believed that he was merely an eccentric claiming to be Dracula, but within short order, they learned the truth as Dracula attempted to blackmail all of the party guests into serving him as his own personal minions.
Martin was unimpressed with Dracula's theatrics, and brandished a .22 revolver, claiming that "Nobody takes Martin Scampt anywhere he doesn't want to go". He fired the shot at point-blank range, but was surprised to find the weapon completely ineffective against Dracula.
Laughing at the older man's audacity, Dracula picked him up in both hands and hurled him off the side of the boat into the ocean. It is unknown whether Martin Scampt survived this incident or not. [1]
