Biography[]
Marnie Cooper was a young blonde-haired teenage girl from Woodsboro, California. She visited her friend Jenny Randall's house where Jenny put on a scary movie called Stab 7. They paused the movie after the cold open to discuss how the opening from Stab 6 is incorporated into the beginning of Stab 7. Jenny explained that it is a movie within a movie, which Marnie thought was ridiculous. She further explained how the first three Stab movies were based on actual events, though they had to start using original material after survivor Sidney Prescott threatened to sue them.
Jenny then heard a noise coming from upstairs. Marnie thought she was just trying to scare her, but Jenny insisted that she wasn't. Leaving Marnie downstairs, Jenny went up to her room where she said she might have left a window open. Moments later, the downstairs telephone began to ring. Marnie answered it and the threatening voice of a male caller told her "This is the last person you are ever going to see alive". This scared Marnie until she realized that it was just Jenny playing a prank on her from upstairs. After Jenny got done giggling at Marnie's expense, she suddenly heard her friend's choked scream over the phone.
Jenny went downstairs, but could not find Marnie. The lights were out and the house phone was on the floor. The phone suddenly rang and when Jenny answered it, the voice on the other end was the real Ghostface killer. Jenny asked him what he did with Marnie. Speaking in movie lingo, Ghostface implied what had happened by citing that Marnie's role in this horror film got "cut" way back, and that her appearance in the film has been left on the "cutting" room floor.
After which, Marnie's corpse was thrown through the window into the living room. An obvious stab wound poured blood from her stomach. Jenny began to run and fled into the garage, but Ghostface pursued her and killed Jenny moments later. [2]
