History[]

The Mark IV Metropolitan Pacification prototype was a highly advanced assault vehicle developed for use by the Gateway City Police Department. It was a highly durable armored mechanism with verticle tank treads. Three thieves stole the prototype device from the G.C.P.D.'s testing grounds and ran amok with it. Wonder Woman, and the Olympian known as Herakles (masquerading under the guise of Harold Champion) arrived at Centennial Plaza to confront the thieves. Wonder Woman thought that this would be a good exercise to test Champion's ability in battle situations. His hot-headedness put the lives of the thieves at risk, so Wonder Woman had to intervene and destroyed the prototype.
