Marie V. Cruz is a television actress. Her career began in 1993, with her first work in the science fiction genre beginning in 1994. That year she appeared in the television movie TekWar as a receptionist. She was credited under the name Marie Cruz in this feature. She did very little else in the 1990s and did not do any further sci-fi work until 1999 when she played Adia Carling in the "Old Wounds" episode of PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. In 2000, Marie appeared in the "I Dream of Genomes" episode of the sci-fi drama program ReGenesis. In the episode she played a day care worker. In 2012 she played a kidnapper in the "Alpha Dogs" episode of Alphas and in 2013 she appeared in two episodes from season one of Defiance playing an Irathient elder. She appeared in "Goodbye Blue Sky" and "If I Ever Leave This World Alive".
