Maria Proudstar is a fictional character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the X-Men line of titles. She first appeared in the second story from Classic X-Men #3 in November, 1986 titled "Mourning".
Biography[]
Maria Proudstar was a Native America of the Apache tribe. She lived on the Camp Verde Apache Reservation in Camp Verde, Arizona. She was married to Neal Proudstar and had two children, John Proudstar and James Proudstar.
