Biography[]
Maria Dracula was a European woman from the 15th century. She was the second wife of Dracula and bore Dracula a son, Vlad Tepulus. In the year 1459, Turkish warriors invaded Transylvania. The leader of the Turks, Turac, raped and murdered Maria. This was about the same time that Dracula was turned into a vampire by the Gypsy woman Lianda. Dracula eventually got his revenge against Turac by turning him into a vampire.
