Marge Dover is a fictional cultist and a minor character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. She is associated with the Green Arrow line of titles and first appeared in Green Arrow, Volume 3 #9 in December, 2001.
Biography[]
Marge Dover was the wife of Stanley Dover. Marge and Stanley were both very religious and active members of their church during the 1950s. However, they both felt lured away by the allure and excitement of Satanism and left their church to join a Satanic cult. Marge enjoyed the freedom of the wild sex orgies, while Stanley took a more serious attitude towards the promise of Satan's dark gifts.
In due time, Marge became pregnant with child. Stanley saw the pending birth as an opportunity to offer up a human sacrifice to Satan. Marge was horrified by this and left Stanley. She named her daughter, Sheila and moved away.
Marge eventually passed away and it wasn't until Sheila was an adult that she was reunited with her father. Sheila married a man named Mitch and gave birth to Marge's grandson, also named Stanley.
