Margaret Blaine is a fictional government agent and a minor character featured in the 2005 Doctor Who revival series. The character was actually killed off prior to her introduction in the series and all appearances of her were actually that of an alien masquerading as the real Margaret Blaine. The human form of Margaret Blaine was played by actress Annette Badland, who first appeared in episode 1x04, "Aliens of London". The faux Blaine made three appearances in the series in total.
Biography[]
Margaret Blaine was a British citizen and a member of MI5. She was attacked and killed by the alien Slitheen known as Blon Fel-Fotch Passameer-Day Slitheen, who used her skin to take her place. As Blaine, Blon Fel-Fotch ran for mayor of Cardiff and tried to establish a large nuclear power plant in the heart of the city.
