Marduk Kurios is a fictional demon featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Son of Satan line of titles and first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #13 in September, 1973. A version of the character also appeared on the short-lived Helstrom television series on Hulu, where he was played by actor Mitch Pileggi.
Biography[]
Marduk Kurios was an elder Hell-Lord, who has often been mistaken for Satan himself. Having manifested once on Earth, he took the guise of a human calling himself "Hellstrom" and seduced Victoria Wingate, whom he later married. From that union came his first human-demonic offspring, Daimon Hellstrom, the so-called "Son of Satan". His second child with Victoria was a succubus named Satana Hellstrom. While Satan embraced her demonic heritage, Daimon actively fought against his father, using his own Hell-spawned powers and his Sacred Scepter to combat the hordes of Hell.
