Overview[]
Marcus was a humanoid gorilla who lived in the East Coast Ape City in the late 40th century. He was a member of the Security Police force and took orders directly from Minister of Science, Doctor Zaius. He was part of the hunt that rounded up three time-displaced astronauts named Taylor, Dodge, and Landon. He was seen participating in a photograph commemorating the event. Marcus later delivered Taylor to the chimpanzee psychologist, Doctor Zira. Later, Doctor Zaius ordered Marcus to blow up the cave containing important artifacts linking ape history with humanity's past.
