Biography[]
Marcia Holland was the epitome of the nice, wholesome girl next door. Born in Defiance, Ohio around the year 1973, she enjoyed an upper class upbringing. When she was about 16-years-old, she enrolled at Camp New Horizons in New York to participate in their "experiment in sharing" program. While there, she met a Mexican American boy from Los Angeles named Tony DeHerrera, whom she developed an interest in.
During the summer of 1989, Camp New Horizons became the target of a serial killer known as Angela Baker. Angela had already terrorized the campground a year earlier, but now returned under the guise of a camper named Maria Nicastro.
Angela targeted her victims for a variety of reasons, most of which involved a perceived failure to meet a certain standard of morality. However, with Marcia, she found nothing about her to warrant her demise, and as such, she was willing to let her go. Once Marcia realized that Angela had slaughtered nearly everyone else at the camp site, she decided to fight back. Both Tony and she managed to escape Angela's rampage and were the only survivors of the July 14th, massacre.
