Manny Coto is a film and television producer, director and script consultant. He is best known for his work on the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise. His earliest work in the sci-fi genre was as a co-executive producer on eight episodes of the 1995 iteration of The Outer Limits. His first film work in the genre was writing and directing the 1997 adventure film Star Kid. He later served as executive producer on all nineteen episodes of the short-lived television series Odyssey 5. In 2003, he began working on Star Trek: Enterprise, beginning with the season three episode "Exile". Coto remained with the show throughout the rest of it's run, becoming more active in the fourth and final season of the show as creators Rick Berman and Brannon Braga became less involved with the day-to-day production of the series. He is credited as executive producer on 22 episodes and co-executive producer on 19 episodes. He wrote 14 episodes of the series between seasons 3 and 4. Coto also made a small cameo appearance in the series finale, "These are the Voyages...".
