Biography[]

The Mankiller was a humanoid robot developed by the terrorist organization known as Hydra. It had green-colored metal plating and stood well over 6'5" tall. It had retractable spikes upon its forearms, and could harness energy, which it used to charge its weapons systems, which included a laser blast from its fingers and missiles from its chest cavity. The Mankiller was designed with only one purpose in mind - to destroy the enemies of Hydra.

After Hydra kidnapped Captain America's new sidekick, Rick Jones, the leader of the organization, Madame Hydra, sent the Mankiller to kill Captain America. Cap evaded the robot's first two blows, but had to use his shield to deflect the gauntlet blast. As the Mankiller was readying itself to fire its missiles, Cap rammed it with his shield, containing the blast, which immobilized the Mankiller.
