"Chapter 13: The Jedi" is the fifth episode of season two of the science fiction/fantasy live-action television series The Mandalorian, and the thirteenth episode of the series overall. It was written and directed by Dave Filoni. It premiered on the Disney+ streaming service on Friday, November 27th, 2019.

It first captured the imaginations of movie goers in May, 1977 with its inaugural installment, which has since come to be identified by its full title, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. - Ahsoka Tano was created by Dave Filoni and first appeared in the 2008 theatrically released Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie. She was a central character on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars computer animated series, and also made appearances in Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.
- Reference is made to Grand Admiral Thrawn in this episode. This character was originally introduced in Legends continuity in the 1991 novel Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. In canon continuity, he was re-introduced as the two-part season three episode of Star Wars: Rebels titled "Steps Into Shadow".
- Ahsoka Tano makes reference to Yoda in this episode. Yoda is a member of an unidentified race who was first seen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Ahsoka Tano met Yoda during the Clone Wars. She confirms in this episode that Yoda and Grogu are of the same race. She also states that outside of Yoda, she has never seen any other member of this race, implying that their species is rare in number.
- Reference is made to Bo-Katan Kryze in this episode. Bo-Katan appeared in "Chapter 11: The Heiress".
- Ahsoka Tano makes an indirect reference to the fall of Anakin Skywalker in this episode.
