"Whatever Knows Fear..." is the title to the first issue of the three-part Man-Thing comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. This series serves as a prequel to the Man-Thing film. The story was written by Hans Rodionoff with artwork & inks by Kyle Hotz. Hotz also rendered the cover art illustration to this issue. It was colored by Lee Loughridge and lettered by Rus Wooton. The story was edited by Jennifer Lee with Axel Alonso as executive editor. This issue shipped with a September, 2004 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).
