Biography[]
Known only as Mama Limbo, this individual was a decrepit and aging voodoo priestess living New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the mother of Desmond Drew, who was also practiced in the ways of voodoo. Mama Limbo sought to restore her youth and vitality by ritualistically sacrificing four virgins. To help facilitate this goal, she created the Cult of the Dark Lord. [1]
Through the cult, Mama Limbo arranged for a woman named Loralee Tate to be abducted and brought to their ceremonial center, where she would become the first virgin to be sacrificed. Fortunately for Loralee, she had recently encountered Brother Voodoo, who was likewise captured by the cult. Mama Limbo attempted to perform the sacrifice of Loralee herself, but a large broken crucifix that had been suspended from the ceiling fell atop of her, killing her instantly. [2]
