Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarchy located in Southeast Asia. It consists of thirteen states and three federal territories. Actress Iris Russell, who played Jean Skinner in seventeen episodes of the sci-fi series Timeslip, was born in Kuala Lumpur on February 22nd, 1922. Actor Julian Garner, who provided the voice for the alien NamTar in the "DNA Mad Scientist" episode of Farscape, was born in Penang on October 1st, 1970. Actress and model Steph Song, who played Victoria Sinclair in the "Roulette" episode of Smallville, was born in Kuching, Sarawak on April 19th, 1984.

- Kuala Lumpur is the national capital and most populous city in Malaysia. The city covers an area of 94 sq miles and has an estimated population of 1.7 million as of 2015. Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.2 million people as of 2013. - Penang is a state of Malaysia located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Strait of Malacca. It comprises two parts – Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town, is located, and Seberang Perai on the Malay Peninsula. The state of Penang is bordered by Kedah to the north and east, and Perak to the south.
- Sarawak
- Sarawak is one of the two Malaysian states on the island of Borneo. This territory has a certain level of autonomy in administration, immigration, and judiciary which differentiates it from the Malaysian Peninsula states. Sarawak is situated in northwest Borneo, bordering the state of Sabah to the northeast, Kalimantan, the Indonesian portion of Borneo, to the south, and surrounding the independent state of Brunei.
