Biography[]
Mako was a young, slender, attractive man who operated out of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 1990s. He became a vampire wannabe and joined a cult like group known as Les Enfants du Sang, which was led by an actual vampire named Eccarius.
Les Enfants du Sang encountered another actual vampire named Proinsias Cassidy. Mako's natural impulsiveness saw Cassidy as a rival, so he challenged him to a fight. Not counting on Cassidy's supernatural strength proved to be Mako's undoing, as the vampire punched him clear across the room, resulting in a broken jaw. Mako's hatred towards Cassidy only intensified.
Sometime later, Les Enfants du Sang captured Cassidy and attempted to force him into turning them all into vampires. Cassidy was decapitated and Mako made sport of it by kicking his head like a soccer ball.
Cassidy's friend Jesse Custer was involved in a voodoo ritual, which involved summoning a giant serpent. The serpent manifested and ate Mako.
