Magus

Magus is a term that relates to someone who is a leader of a mystical organization such as the Magi of Zoroastrianism. The term has also been applied to several different characters in speculative fiction. Actress Marcia Magus played a character named Magus on the TV series Earth 2. In Marvel Comics continuity, Magus was a name attributed to the dark side of Adam Warlock's soul, who manifested itself as a separate entity and fought Warlock. Another figure dubbed the Magus was a member of an alien race known as the Technarch, who had a son who was also known as Warlock.
