"Once Burned, Twice Shy" is the title to the fifth and final issue of the Madrox comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics under their Marvel Knights imprint. The story was written by Peter David with artwork by Pablo Raimondi and inks by Drew Hennessy. It was colored by Brian Reber with lettering by VC's Cory Petit. The cover art illustration was rendered by David Lloyd. The story was edited by Andy Schmidt with Nicole Wiley and Molly Lazer as assistant editors. This issue shipped with a March, 2005 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).

- The character of Jamie Madrox was created by writers Len Wein and Chris Claremont. He first appeared in the first story from Giant-Size Fantastic Four #4 in February, 1975.
