Biography[]
Madisynn King is the ultimate party girl. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her father after he remarried. As an adult, Madisynn lived in Los Angeles, California.
Madisynn was one of a handful patrons who attended a magic show at the Mystic Castle in Los Angeles. The performer was a stage magician named Donny Blaze, who was actually a former student of the actual mystic arts at Kamar-Taj. Donny called Madisynn out from the audience and had her go on-stage. When meager magic tricks failed to impress, he produced a sling ring, which opened up a dimensional portal. Madisynn was sucked in an ended up in some Hell-like nether-dimension. She made a deal with a talking goat named Jake to rescue her from a volcano. In exchange, Madisynn had to sacrifice six drops of blood.
Jake opened a rift, and Madisynn found herself literally dropping in at the home of Sorcerer Supreme Wong in Nepal. When Wong learned that Madisynn's dimension-hopping was a direct result of former student Donny Blaze, he flew into a rage.
Wong teleported to Los Angeles, and petitioned super-human attorney Jennifer Walters to issue Donny a cease and desist for the unlawful use of magic. The situation went to trial, and when Judge Hanna demanded that a character witness be presented, Wong was forced to pull Madisynn away from another party into the courtroom.
Although initially irritated with her, Wong and Madisynn actually became close and she began spending time with him in his home. They would eat popcorn, watch episodes of The Sopranos and This is Us together and discuss their favorite alcoholic beverages. [1]
