Vampire Chronicles[]
Madeleine was a human dollmaker who lived in Paris, France in the mid 19th century. The child vampire known as Claudia, unable to procreate vampiric progeny on her own, begged her maker, Louis de Pointe du Lac, to turn Madeleine into a vampire so she would have a companion. Reluctantly, Louis did as asked. Soon after however, Claudia and Madeleine were captured by the Theatre des Vampires. They executed both of them by chaining them in an open cistern until the sun came up. (Interview with the Vampire)
