Macroon Mesa, also known as Mushroom Mesa, is a region of the Dune Sea on the planet Tatooine, and is known for its visually appealing geological formations.
History[]
In 32 BBY, Macroon Mesa was incorporated into the Boonta Eve Classic annual podrace circuit. It was part of the first leg of the race, and was the area that podracers traveled through first after exiting the Grand Arena. During the race, the treacherous Dug known as Sebulba, sabotaged Mawhonic's podracer early in the competition, causing him to lose the race.
