The M Space Hunter Nebula is a fictional location featured in the Godzilla film series by Toho Company. It is associated with the Shōwa period and made a behind-the-scenes appearance in Godzilla vs. Gigan in 1972.
The M Space Hunter Nebula was a nebula located in an unidentified area of outer space. It was home to an unnamed world inhabited by an insectoid race referred to as Nebulons. It is possible that the giant space monster known as Gigan may have originated from this region of space as well.
After millions of years of pollution and ecological abuse, the homeworld of the Nebulons was quickly becoming uninhabitable. Two Nebulon scientists left their world and came to Earth, where they took up human guises and enacted a plan to make Earth habitable for their species.
Gigan, and another space monster known as Ghidorah, were summoned from the M Space Hunter Nebula and flew through outer space to Earth to facilitate the Nebulons' schemes.
