M.O.D.O.G. is a fictional super-terrorist and a minor antagonist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Iron Man line of titles and first appeared in the second chapter of "The Five Nightmares" storyline from Invincible Iron Man #2 in August, 2008.
Biography[]
M.O.D.O.G. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Genocide) is a M.O.D.O.K analogue created to serve as the leader of an A.I.M. detachment known as the Advanced Genocide Mechanics. Under M.O.D.O.G.'s leadership, A.G.M conducted a terrorist strike against an impoverished village in Tanzania in the African Congo. S.H.I.E.L.D. director Tony Stark, in his guise as Iron Man, responded to the emergency and tracked the A.G.M. agents to their secret lair. Flying into the base, he grabbed M.O.D.O.G. by the scruff of his hair and flew him high into the troposphere. He separated him from his hover-chair and left him to drift. [1]
Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Genius-level intellect: Presumably the same Super-Intelligence and Psionic Powers as the original M.O.D.O.K, prior to his depowering.
- Psychokinesis: Presumably the same Super-Intelligence and Psionic Powers as the original M.O.D.O.K, prior to his depowering.
Weaknesses[]
- Restricted mobility: Due to his disproportionate body size, M.O.D.O.G. suffers from restricted mobility and requires a specially designed hover chair for movement.
Equipment[]
- Doomsday chair: M.O.D.O.G.'s body is confined to a elaborate hover-chair similar in function and appearance to the original M.O.D.O.K.'s Doomsday Chair. Whether this conveyance provides any additional support to M.O.D.O.G.'s functions has yet to be revealed.
