Lucas was a young Caucasian male with long dark hair. He lived three states east of California and was the son of a man named Jeb. He had a sister named Maggie.
When Maggie went missing, Lucas and his father armed themselves and went to a local bar to get some help. None of the townsfolk seemed willing to aid them, and they appeared to have some knowledge of the monstrous forces that had affected their town. A bar patron named "Black" Betty Walker offered to rescue Maggie and kill the monster for a nominal fee.
