Lost in Space is an American episodic science fiction television series that aired on CBS from September, 1965 to March, 1968. The series was created by Irwin Allen and produced by Irwin Allen Productions. The show ran for three seasons and had a total of eighty-three episodes, not counting the original unaired pilot episode. The series starred Guy Williams, June Lockhart, Mark Goddard, Marta Kristen, Bill Mumy and Angela Cartwright. Actor Jonathan Harris was credited as a guest star but appeared in all 83 aired episodes.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Season one was shot entirely in black and white while seasons two and three were filmed in color.
- The original pilot episode, "No Place to Hide", was unaired making "The Reluctant Stowaway" the first official episode of the series.
- Doctor Zachary Smith and the B9 robot were not featured in the unaired pilot, "No Place to Hide". They both made their first appearance in "The Reluctant Stowaway".
- Lost in Space was remade as a theatrically released feature film directed by Stephen Hopkins.
- Series stars June Lockhart, Mark Goddard, Marta Kristen, Angela Cartwright and Dick Tufeld all made cameo appearances in the Lost in Space feature film. Tufeld reprised his role as the voice of the B9 robot.
