Los Angeles County is a county located in the U.S. state of California. The city of Los Angeles is the county seat of Los Angeles County. It was first incorporated on February 18th, 1850 and dominates the entire region of Southern California.

Incorporating one of the most populous cities in the United States, L.A. County is teeming with lively, frenetic and bizarre events as it relates to film and other media. For example, back in the 1980s, an alien came to Earth, took on human form and began killing people, electrocuting them and stealing their blood in the hopes of finding a way to save his home world.
