Lorrimer Van Helsing is a fictional scholar and vampire hunter and a central character featured in the "Hammer Horror" film series. Played by actor Peter Cushing, he first appeared in the feature film Dracula A.D. 1972. Cushing reprised the role for the film's 1973 sequel, The Satanic Rites of Dracula.
