Lorraine Richter is a fictional prostitute and a minor character featured on the FX Network television series American Horror Story. She is associated with the season nine storyline, "1984", and was played by actress Tanya Clarke. The character appeared in episode 9x06, "Episode 100".
Biography[]
Lorraine, maiden name unknown, was once a prostitute, who got out of the life and ran away to Alaska. She married a man named Benjamin Richter, who was desperate to escape from his own dark past. Lorraine became aware of Benjamin's past life as a serial killer, but also recognized that he was now mentally stable and seeking a new life. The two fell in love and were married. They had a son together named Bobby, who was named after Benjamin's late brother.
Before starting his life over, Benjamin Richter had been partnered with another serial killer, Richard Ramirez. Benjamin betrayed Ramirez, which resulted in Richard being sent to prison. Ramirez used Satanism to escape and sought to avenge himself against Richter. He exacted his revenge by slaughtering Lorraine. [1]
