Lorne is a fictional character featured in the WB Network television series Angel. Played by actor Andy Hallett, he first appeared in the season two premiere episode "Judgment". Lorne was a recurring supporting cast member throughout most of the series, but became a credited cast member with season five. In total, he appeared in 76 episodes of the series. Lorne has also appeared in the Angel: After the Fall comic book series by IDW Publishing and received his own one-shot spotlight in Angel Special: Lorne.

- The character of Lorne was created by director Michael Lange and producer/writer David Greenwalt based upon concepts originally developed by Greenwalt and showrunner Joss Whedon.
- Actor Andy Hallett also had an uncredited role as a student in the "Hush" episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
- Lorne is also the middle name of Burn Notice star Bruce Campbell.
- Actor David Mattey played Behemoth Lorne in the season five episode, "Life of the Party".
- Lorne's heart is in his ass - literally. This is part of the physiology of a Deathwok clan demon from Pylea. [4]
- Actor Andy Hallett tragically passed away from a congenital heart condition on March 29th, 2009 at the age of 33.
