Looker is an American feature film of the science fiction genre with an emphasis on themes such as artificial intelligence and cyberpunk motifs. It was written and directed by Michael Crichton. It was produce by Warner Bros. and released through The Ladd Company. The film premiered theatrically in the United States on October 30th, 1981. Plastic surgeon Larry Roberts performs a series of minor alterations on a group of models who are seeking perfection. The operations are a resounding success. But when someone starts killing his beautiful patients, Doctor Roberts becomes suspicious and starts investigating. What he uncovers are the mysterious - and perhaps murderous - activities of a high-tech computer company called Digital Matrix.
