"The Lives of the Mayfair Witches" is the collective umbrella of fiction novels that chronicle the lives of the Mayfair family. The books were written by author Anne Rice and began as a trilogy, starting with The Witching Hour published in 1990, and continuing in Lasher in 1993 and Taltos in 1994. The series then spun out into crossover format with Rice's other brand, "The Vampire Chronicles", which included six insular novels, and three crossover novels beginning with Merrick in 2000, Blackwood Farm in 2002, and Blood Canticle in 2003.
In 2023, AMC began airing the Mayfair Witches live-action series, which was developed for television by Esta Spalding & Michelle Ashford and produced by AMC Studios and Gran Via Productions. The series began airing on January 8th, 2023 and stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan Fielding with Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve, Jack Huston as the enigmatic Lasher, and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair.

- Author Anne Rice passed away on December 11th, 2021 at the age of 80.
