Linda Harrison, sometimes credited as Augusta Summerland, is an American film and television actress and former model and beauty pageant winner. She was born in Berlin, Maryland on July 24th, 1945.
Linda got her start in television by playing the role of a cheerleader in two episodes of the 1960s Batman television series. Linda Harrison is best known however for playing the mute primitive woman Nova in the Planet of the Apes film series, which were produced by her then-husband, Richard D. Zanuck for 20th Century Fox. She appeared in Planet of the Apes in 1968 and Beneath the Planet of the Apes in 1970.
In 1988, Linda played the role of a woman named Susan in the family sci-fi film Cocoon: The Return.
Linda's final film work to date was in 2001, when she returned to her "Apes" roots for a bit role in Tim Burton's remake of Planet of the Apes. She played a woman in a cart.

- Linda Harrison was a teenage beauty pageant winner and was crowned Miss Berlin in Maryland at age 16.
- Worked as a model in New York's Garment Center.
- Linda Harrison was the second wife of Planet of the Apes producer Richard D. Zanuck. They were married from October 26th, 1969 to January 23rd, 1978.
- Starred in the 1974 thriller Airport 1975 with Planet of the Apes co-star Charlton Heston.
- Linda Harrison and Charlton Heston both made cameo appearances in Tim Burton's 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes. While Heston had a speaking role as Thade's father, Linda Harrison had a very minor role as a woman in a cart.
