Linda was a young woman who lived in the town of Vissaria, California in the early 1980s. In 1980, Linda and her friends Case, Willie, Walt, and Cheryl were driving down a dark road during a thunderstorm. Walt lost control of the vehicle and crashed the car into a tree. As the rain came down, the five friends sought shelter in the nearby Clive house. Linda was reluctant to enter given the history of the home, but they had little other choice but to go inside. While there, Walt found a secret laboratory in the basement. An old assistant of the homeowner, Dell Frye, murdered Walt in order to keep the laboratory's existence a secret. Linda was a teenage girl in the early 1980s. She lived in Los Angeles, California and attended school at Stanford High School where she played on the girls' varsity basketball team. Linda was friends with Trish Devereaux, Kim Clark, Jackie Cassidy and Diane. After closing out the basketball season, the team parted ways and left school for the day. Linda had forgotten some books and turned back. Her coach, Rachel Jana, warned her to be quick as they would be locking up the school soon. After the lights were turned out, escaped serial killer Russ Thorn, who had been silently observing the school from outside, broke into the building and began stalking Linda. Linda tried to escape from Russ, running into several different rooms. Ultimately though, Linda's luck ran out as Russ cornered her, slaughtering her with a large power drill.
