Limbo is an extradimensional realm ruled by Demons. In the past it was lorded over by S'ym, and later by Illyana Raspution. Illyana's mutant ability to teleport via her stepping discs, enabled her to travel back and forth from Limbo the real world at will, often bringing passengers along with her. During the time that Illyana was deceased, the witch Amanda Sefton became the Mistress of Limbo.

- Black Room
- The Black Room is a special sub-section located in the void of Limbo. From here, the ghost of Ivan can keep an eye on Lila, the Ball-Jointed Witch-Hunter, and monitor her actions in the modern century. He can also coordinate his duties using necro-pages taken from the Necronomicon.

- Limbo is also the name of an orangutan featured in Tim Burton's 2001 adaptation of Planet of the Apes.
- Not to be confused with Temporal Limbo, which is pocket dimension that exists outside of the spacetime continuum and is ruled by Immortus and Kang.
