Biography[]

Lena Luthor was the wife of Lionel Luthor and the mother of Lex Luthor and Lena Luthor. Like all members of the family, Lillian was ambitious and power-hungry. She followed the growth and power structure of LuthorCorp as established by Lionel, but initiated her own endeavors as well.

Like her son, Lillian believed that extraterrestrials posed a viable threat to the planet Earth. To this end, she became a leader of a government scientific think tank known as Project Cadmus, whose function was to study threats of an alien nature and devise methods of containment and extermination. In some cases, they even endeavored to weaponize alien biology for their own ends.

When Lex Luthor was defeated by Superman and sent to prison, Lena Luthor took control of LuthorCorp. Lillian and Lena were always at odds with one another. Lena did not share the lack of moral fiber as her parents and brother, which Lillian perceived as a sign of weakness.

Despite this however, Lillian did in fact love her daughter. When Morgan Edge tried to have Lena Luthor killed, Lillian took measures to get revenge. She placed a bomb in Edge's car, and when this failed to kill him, she sent a remote control drone to kill him. This too failed, so Lillian donned a special power armor and tried to take him out directly. She got into a fight with Supergirl and Mon-El and was soundly defeated. Lillian was then taken back to prison.
