Life is an American feature film of the science fiction and horror genres. It was directed by Daniel Espinosa with a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It was produced by Columbia Pictures, Skydance Media, Sony Pictures Entertainment and released theatrically in the United States on March 24th, 2017. The premise of the movie involves six astronauts aboard a space station who acquire a sample from the planet Mars of a single-cell organism that quickly grows out of control and begins to kill everyone.
