Biography[]
Leuuen was an elderly man who lived in a small village in Holland in the early years of World War II. On May 11th, 1940, the Blackhawk Squadron parachuted into Holland after intercepting a Nazi communique indicating that the village was defenseless.
When one of the Blackhawks encouraged the villages to make a stand, Leuuen balked, indicating that all of the able-bodied men were already off fighting the war. The only ones left were children, the elderly and those of ill health. He added that they had no choice but to accept the plebiscite "free" elections that the German government intended on holding in the village. The thought of such a thing sickened Leuuen, but he felt that his people had no choice. He was hopeful that once his village accepted German occupation, then they would be allowed to live in peace.
Due to the presence of the Blackhawks, Leuuen had a change of heart and decided to lead the vote against Nazi occupation. Because the Blackhawks caused so many problems in the village, the German high command declared the plebescite void due to allied tampering.
