- Leonard Nimoy developed the idea of the Vulcan nerve pinch because he believed Spock would not condescend to using more conventional fighting techiniques to stop an opponent. [1]
- In Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Nimoy's character Sentinel Prime speaks the line "The neeeds of the many outweigh the needs of the few...". This is a line originally made famous by Nimoy's Spock character in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
- Leonard Nimoy voiced Galvatron in The Transformers: The Movie until The Transformers cartoon after which Frank Welker who had previously voiced Megatron in The Transformers cartoon and as well as The Transformers: The Movie takes over the vocal role of Galvatron.
