Lena Luthor is a fictional librarian and a recurring character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. She was first envisioned as a character of the Silver Age era in DC's Pre-Crisis continuity, making her first appearance in the pages of Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #23 in February, 1961. The character has since been re-imagined for the Post-Crisis continuity, Post-Birthright continuity, and New 52 continuity. She has also made appearances on the CW Network television series Supergirl, where she was played by actress Katie McGrath.
