Notes & Trivia[]

  • The Legion of Super-Heroes were created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino. They first appeared as a three-member team in the first story in Adventure Comics #247 in April, 1958 titled "The Legion of Super-Heroes". The group would go on to become the main feature of the series and would also spawn numerous Legion of Super-Heroes ongoing comic titles as well as a cartoon series.
  • This is the first appearance of New Earth, which is a network of domed city-states interconnected with one another as a massive space station/city-state.
