"Half Life - A Morbius Tale" is the title to the Morbius one-shot special released as part of the Legion of Monsters series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Brendan Cahill with artwork and coloring by Michael Gaydos. It was lettered by Rus Wooton. The second story in this issue features Dracula and Lilith, and is aptly titled "Biting Back - A Tale of Dracula & Lilith". It is written by C.B. Cebulski with artwork by David Finch and inks by Danny K. Miki of Crimelab Studios. It is colored by Frank D'Armata and lettered by Rus Wooton. Both stories were edited by John Barber with Ralph Macchio as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a September, 2007 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).

- The character of Morbius was created by writer Roy Thomas, artist Gil Kane and inker Frank Giacoia. He first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #101 in October, 1971 in a story titled "A Monster Called... Morbius!" The character has since headlined his own serial in Adventure Into Fear, had two of his own ongoing titles as well as a reprint series and has made appearances in numerous other books such as Vampire Tales.
