"The Legend" is an fictional informant and a supporting character featured in The Boys ongoing comic book series published by Dynamite Entertainment. He first appeared in The Boys #7 in May, 2007.

Biography[]

If there is dirt to be dug, the Legend is the one who does the digging. His specialty is unearthing America's dirty little secrets, ranging from everything from corporate tax fraud to U.F.O. cover-ups. Also known as Sammy, the Legend has spent a large portion of his life collecting top secret information about America's Supes, and their corporate sponsors, Vought International.

The Legend has funneled information to The Boys and has worked closely with the group's leader, Billy Butcher, providing him information which could be used to blackmail the Supes.

The Legend had a meeting with Hughie Campbell wherein he discussed Vought's influence on world economics and manufacturing dating all the way back to World War II. [1]
