The Last Woman on Earth is an American indepedendent low-budget feature film of the science fiction genre with an emphasis on the post-apocalyptic future story trope. It was directed by Roger Corman with a screenplay written by Robert Towne It opened to limited theatrical release as a "drive-in" feature in the United States on August 5th, 1960. The movie features a minimal cast consisting of Betsy Jones Moreland as Evelyn Gern, Antony Carbone as her husband, Harold Gern, and Edward Wain as Martin Joyce.
