La Hacienda is a fictional location featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Man-Thing and She-Hulk line of titles and first appeared in Man-Thing #7 in July, 1974.
Description[]
La Hacienda is a village colony located within the Florida Everglades. The Fountain of Eternal Youth is located here. Residents of the colony have enjoyed a prolonged lifespan thanks to consuming the water from the fountain. However, such a gift also produced an unsavory side-effect in that it transformed them into disfigured purple ogres. These beings became known as The Fathers.
