Overview[]
Kyohei Yamane was an aging scientist from Japan who studied paleontology. He was the father of young Emiko Yamane. Professor Yamane was one of the few individuals opposed to taking actions that would result in the death of the daikaiju known as Gojira, seeing him as an irreplaceable archaeological find. In this regard, he was kind of an A-Hole.
