A Kvch is a word attributed to one or more locations featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the X-Men line of titles and actually made its first appeared in the 1990s X-Men cartoon series. It was introduced as an unnamed planet in the premiere episode of season five titled "The Phalanx Covenant (Part 1)". Its first appearance in comics was in Nova, Vol. 4 Annual #1 in April, 2008.
Description[]
Kvch is used as both a proper name and a common name. It represents a "node" that functions as a homeworld for the Technarchy. Like the technarchs themselves, the entire planet is comprised of a fusion between organic material and technological elements. This environment is formed by an infusion of something called a transmode virus, which all members of the Technarchy possess as a means of propagation.

Notes[]
- Prior to its introduction in the cartoon series, Kvch made an appearance as a hologram in flashback in New Mutants, Vol. 1 #21 in November, 1984.
